Q: Will people be able to tell if I have a prosthesis on?

A: No! With a proper fit, no one will be able to tell you are wearing a prosthesis.
Silicone prosthesis especially have the weight, feel and form of your remaining breast.
That's why we tell our customers they are still huggable!

Q: How soon can I be fitted for a breast form after a mastectomy?

A: Approximately six weeks or when your doctor writes you a prescription for
your breast prosthesis and mastectomy bras.

Q: If I have had breast reconstruction, or lumpectomy, and my breast are not even,
is there anything you can do?

A: There are a variety of silicone shells on the market that will balance your form
and do wonders at enhancing your shape!

Q: After my mastectomy I now have excess skin under my arm. Is there anything I
can do?

A: Yes! There are a variety of bras made that are wider under the arms and
dramatically help your form. Jodee Bras are an especially good fitting bra for this
problem.

Q: Does my insurance pay for any of my post mastectomy needs?

A: Yes! Medicare and most other insurance's pay for one breast prosthesis a year
and two mastectomy bras every six months. Of coarse, insurance company policies
vary. We will check with your carrier to see how much is covered and file for you.

Q: How long does a breast prosthesis last?

A: Most have a two year warranty. But many women choose to replace theirs after
one year.

Q: What is better, A silicone or non-silicone prosthesis?

A: A silicone prosthesis has many benefits. Most importantly having a weighted
prosthesis evens your posture and prevents spinal curvature, shoulder drop,
muscle contraction, balance problems and poorly fitting clothes. Non-silicone
prosthesis tend to be lighter and better for exercise, swimming and hot days.
