The install routine for many popular programs will automatically change your Internet homepage, even when you don’t want it to. To reset your home page to Backroads:

Netscape 4.0 or higher

Open Netscape, click on EDIT, then PREFERENCES, then in the field labeled “Netscape starts with” type in www.backroads.net. Click OK.

Internet Explorer

Click here.  When the Download File window opens, select, “Open this file from its current location”, then click YES when it asks you to confirm updating the registry. Your webpage will be reset automatically.
